"INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION

Dona ISABELLA BARADEL

FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCEROGENE ILLNESS"

 

Article 1

The Royal House of Portugal, in memory of her cofounder and consort of the Head of the House, HRH Dom Rosario Poidimani, Duke of Bragança, who passed in young age due to ominous tumour, institutes, for the immediate activation, the "INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION Dona ISABELLA BARADEL FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCEROGENE ILLNESS", shortly denominated "F.I.D.I.B."

Article 2

1. The Foundation reunites all the persons, physical and legal, who intend to follow the aims hereby announced.

2. The Foundation has legal seats in Vicenza and Lisbon.

3. The Foundation can operate with States, Regions, Provinces, Communities and all the oncological Entities, National or International, public or private.

Article 3

The Foundation has the aim:

1. To promote initiatives for the study and research for the fight against all cancerous illnesses;

2. To promote activities for information and education about health;

3. To promote activities for oncological prevention;

4. To collaborate with national and international organizations in oncology field;

5. To promote initiative for the bettering of the public assistance in the oncology field;

6. All that here not provided, but re-entering the international oncological sector.

 

Article 4

The Foundation will be regulated under the norms indicated in the statutes, SECTION I.

 

 

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS AND POWERS

Article 5

1. The Foundation may nominate a Scientific Committee, composed of no more than five members, which will be chosen between persons from the oncological national and international world, for evaluation of valid proposals.

2. The Scientific Committee is in charge for three years, and has to be reconfirmed.

 

Article 6

The Foundation will impose itself to the collaboration with all the institutions, Associations, public and private, Leagues, etc., either national or international, for bettering of all provided in the aims in article 3 of the present section IV.

 

Article 7

1. The Royal House establishes the unlimited term of the Foundation

2. The Foundation is a non-profit organisation.

3. Whatever form of collaboration is on a voluntary basis, and therefore not repayable.

Article 8

1. The Royal House of Portugal will initiate the minting of 30 golden coins, 100 silver coins, and 300 metal coins, in memorial of HRH Dona Isabella Baradel
